Molly stood on her tiptoes, her lips pressed to his.
The train whistled and reluctantly, they parted. She blinked up at him in the dim early morning light. He really was the most beautiful man she'd ever seen. And to think that a week ago, she didn't know he existed.
He leaned down and kissed her cheek again before giving her a small smile, exposing the dimples in his cheeks. "I'll see you around, Molly Hooper."
"Holmes," she corrected with a small smile of her own.
Sherlock chuckled at that and stepped back towards the waiting train. "Molly Holmes."
He winked at her as the fog grew in the space between them. She twisted the thin gold ring on her finger as he stepped into the train that would take him away from her. Maybe they were crazy, jumping into marriage just days after meeting, but no one knew what tomorrow would bring, so what was the harm?
Sherlock would come home when it was over, and well, then they'd figure it out.
